I’m D. Danyelle Thomas and, quite simply, I am the voice of liberation-centered Black faith & spirituality. I lead on-trend, justice-driven conversations that challenge my audiences to engage with difficult questions around our faith and the dynamics of power, oppression, and resistance. I offer entertaining + transformative keynotes, workshops, and panel discussions that are customized to meet your end goal.
I have distinguished expertise in the rising unchurched population. I speak on topics ranging from bridging the generational gap in religious congregations to the reconciliation of faith with sexuality, politics, gender, and race. PLEASE NOTE: Speaker Fees / Honorarium for D. Danyelle Thomas as a keynote speaker or panelist begin at $3,000. For breakout and facilitator sessions, fees begin at $1,500. All honoraria and speaker fees exclude travel, airfare, and lodging as applicable.
Flexibility to accommodate organizations with tighter budgets will be solely at my personal discretion.

While I am a US resident, I consider myself a global citizen and welcome the opportunity to carry this work anywhere in the world where it is sought out! I hold a valid US passport and maintain VISA eligibility where required. If you’re outside the US, please do not hesitate to inquire of my availability for your event, project, or organization.
ABOUT ME
D. Danyelle Thomas, MPP is a Black faith and spirituality speaker, author, public theologian, spiritualist, and activist. Founder of Unfit Christian, her work and words have been featured in Essence, the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture, Rewire.News, Splinter, & NBC News. Currently, Danyelle is penning her next book, The Day God Saw Me as Black (Row House Publishing), slated for debut in Fall 2024.
