I’ll Never Ask You for What You Can’t Afford.

Many of us are navigating and surviving the unjust system of capitalism. As a Black woman, I am often most concerned about creating equity even at the my own expense. Being accessible and of service to my community matters deeply to me and so does having my needs and desires met. In the salient words of Jade T. Perry,


“there is no divisible number to capture the decades of free labor you’ve done, your kinfolk have done, ya aunties have done, or ya granny has done. You are more than welcome to a harvest. The imbalance is not with you. It’s caused by capitalism.”

However COMMA, I believe we’ve been conditioned to sacrifice “by faith” to get the results we desire. That flies in the face of my personal ethics and is not a practice I will ever intentionally engage. So here’s how we move:

  • NO COERCION: I will not play on your desperation for solutions for my personal profit. I want you here because you want to be here and being present does you no harm. So, if you’re feeling motivated to work with me out of fear of missing out, desperation, guilt, shame, or pressure, do not book any service with or make contributions to me. I quite literally work to unravel these narratives of tying finances to “spiritual obedience.”
  • NO DEBT: I am wholly uncomfortable with you going into debt to finance services or contributions to me. If you’re planning to charge your credit card to pay me but don’t have a repayment plan, please don’t book. Down to your last dime and thinking of contributing as a “sacrifice?” Take your resources and apply them where they’re most needed: YOU! A leap of faith shouldn’t put you into financial distress.

As Alexis P. Morgan shares, “that’s not what these tools are for – they are meant to help improve your life, not make it more stressful! Signing up for any of my services under these conditions would not be good for me, and it definitely won’t be good for you, as that is not a prime zone for magic to work its, well, magic in, as it were.”

Spiritual Coaching, including divination work, is an investment in both time and money. My work is grounded in centering the needs of Black + Marginalized people, so I am also mindful that your willingness to invest in yourself may require a little more time than paying in full. I do offer a FlexPay booking option for clients where a deposit of $100 is required and the remaining balance is paid in full 5 days prior to your session.

If you are familiar with the spectrum of my work over the last several years, you know that I unapologetically center Black folks in all that I do. Because of this, I am well aware of our cultural relationship to money and access. I am especially sensitive to religious trauma associations with money as well as scarcity trauma narratives from childhood impoverishment. In an effort to balance these realities with my own needs, I offer the following options to make my services more accessible.

Discount Codes
